You cannot bring phones, bags, or study materials into the test room. Lockers are provided at most centres.
The Life in the UK test has 24 multiple-choice questions. You have 45 minutes to complete it and need at least 18 out of 24 (75%) to pass. It covers British history, traditions, values, government, and everyday life.
Results are given immediately after the test. If you pass, you receive a letter confirming your result, which you need for your settlement or citizenship application.
