Pass guarantee terms

BritPass offers a £50 pass guarantee for Pass Guarantee plan subscribers. If you meet all eligibility criteria and do not pass the official Life in the UK test, we will refund your £50 test fee.
Eligibility criteria
To qualify for the pass guarantee, you must meet all six requirements:
- Activation window: Activate your Pass Guarantee plan at least 21 days before your official test date
- Study days: Study on at least 10 separate days, where a qualifying study day requires a minimum of 10 minutes of study time or 40 questions answered
- Study plan completion: Complete 100% of your generated study plan within BritPass
- Mock test performance: Pass at least 12 mock tests with a score of 92% or higher (22 out of 24 questions correct)
- Consecutive passes: Achieve 6 consecutive mock test passes at 92% or higher within 14 days of your official test date
- Final week practice: Complete 3 passing mock tests (at 92%+) on 3 separate days within 7 days of your official test date
How to claim
- Submit a claim through BritPass within 30 days of your official test date
- Provide your official test result letter or confirmation showing a fail result
- Provide your purchase receipt (App Store receipt or Stripe payment confirmation)
- Provide your test booking confirmation showing your name and booking date
- Our team will verify your in-app study data against the eligibility criteria
Claim review process
Claims are reviewed within 5 working days of submission. We will verify:
- Your Pass Guarantee plan purchase date and activation status
- Your study completion, mock test scores, and study day history within BritPass
- The authenticity of your official test result documentation
- That all six eligibility requirements were met before your test date
Payment
Approved claims will be paid within 10 working days via your chosen payment method (bank transfer or PayPal). The refund amount is £50, equivalent to the official Life in the UK test fee.
Exclusions
The pass guarantee does not apply if:
- You do not meet all six eligibility criteria listed above
- You are on the Pass Pro plan (the pass guarantee is only available to Pass Guarantee plan subscribers)
- You used a different name or identity for the official test than your BritPass account
- Your official test was cancelled or invalidated for any reason (e.g., misconduct, identification issues)
- You submit your claim more than 30 days after your official test date
- You have previously received a pass guarantee payout from BritPass
- Evidence of fraudulent activity is detected, including but not limited to: completing 12 or more mock tests within a 3-hour window, achieving 8 or more perfect scores, or completing a study plan in less than one third of the estimated time
Limitations
- The pass guarantee is limited to one claim per user per Pass Guarantee plan purchase
- BritPass reserves the right to modify or discontinue the pass guarantee programme with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
- This guarantee is a goodwill commitment and does not constitute a legal warranty of test outcomes
