By accessing or using BritPass, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of service

BritPass is an educational mobile application designed to help users prepare for the Life in the UK test. The app provides:

3. Educational purpose disclaimer

Important: BritPass is a study aid and supplementary resource. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date content based on the official Life in the UK handbook, we make no guarantees that:

• Using this app will guarantee you pass the official test
• Our question bank contains the exact questions from the official test
• All information is current with the latest official handbook revisions

Users should always refer to the official Life in the UK handbook and official government resources as primary study materials.

4. User accounts

Some features may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app

• Share your account with others or use another person's account

The Life in the UK test content is based on publicly available information from UK government sources. We do not claim ownership of official government content but have created original practice materials inspired by these sources.

7. Subscriptions and payments

• Some features require a paid subscription or one-time purchase
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings
• Refunds are subject to the applicable app store's refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• BritPass is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BritPass, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

10. Modifications to service

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue any part of the app at any time
• Update content and features without notice
• Change these Terms of Use with reasonable notice

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms of Use. Upon termination, your right to use the app will cease immediately.

13. Dispute resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the United Kingdom.

If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and BritPass regarding the use of the app.
