Brighton's Life in the UK test centre is run by MTS on the 7th floor of Vantage Point, a landmark tower just north of the city centre beside the London Road viaduct, in Brighton BN1 4GW. It is easy to reach for candidates travelling from across Brighton, Hove and Sussex to sit their Life in the UK test.

• •There is no dedicated visitor parking at Vantage Point; public car parks around the London Road area and city centre are within a short walk at standard rates.

What to bring on test day

• 1.Your valid, unexpired passport or biometric residence permit (BRP) — the same ID you used to book.

About the Life in the UK test

The Life in the UK test has 24 multiple-choice questions. You have 45 minutes to complete it and need at least 18 out of 24 (75%) to pass. It covers British history, traditions, values, government, and everyday life.

Results are given immediately after the test. If you pass, you receive a letter confirming your result, which you need for your settlement or citizenship application.
